Apps/Noodle

Your unfinished idea is someone's next track.

Noodle is where the loops, stems and half-ideas go - the ones that never make it out of your drafts folder. Drop a scrap, other people cook on it, and your name stays on everything that comes after.

Why it exists

Most good ideas die in the drafts folder.

Every producer has them. The eight-bar loop that went nowhere. The stem from a session that never got finished. The voice memo with one good line in it. Too rough to post, too good to bin - so it sits there, and nobody ever hears it.

Noodle gives that material somewhere to live, and somebody to pick it up.

How it works

Drop it. Someone cooks. You keep the credit.

Drop a scrap

A loop, a beat, a half-idea, a stem you never used. It does not need to be finished. That is the entire point.

Cooks build on it

Other producers take your scrap somewhere you would not have taken it. Sometimes that is a beat. Sometimes it is a whole track.

Your name stays on it

Credit follows the idea. Every version that comes out of your scrap carries you with it.

The Pot

One idea. Four sets of hands.

Start a pot and invite the cooks in your kitchen to build on it, or jump into someone else's. Every contribution stays separate, so you can hear who did what.

Inside

What you get.

The Pantry

The feed. Everything people have dropped and not finished, waiting for someone to hear it differently.

Pots

Where a scrap turns into a group effort. Several people cooking on the same idea, each contribution kept separate.

The Cook-off

A fresh theme drops the first of each month and two winners pull RIPPLES gear. The room votes, not us.

Your kitchen

The cooks you follow. Fill it with people whose ears you trust and their scraps come to you first.

Levels and cosmetics

Cooking earns you levels, and levels unlock how your profile looks. Small thing, but it rewards the people who turn up.

Messages

Once someone has cooked on your idea you usually want to talk to them. You can, without leaving for Instagram.

Line cook to chef

Turn up enough and you stop being a line cook.

Drop, get pulled, get liked, host a pot, fill your kitchen. Every one of them moves you up, and levels change how your profile looks.

The Pantry

Somebody's leftovers, your next track.

Loops, one-shots, pads, beats and lyrics that people dropped and walked away from - each one with its tempo, its kind, and the person who made it. Sort by Hot, Fresh, or Spoiling: the ones about to go cold.

Audio only. No MIDI, no session files, so nothing you post can be pulled apart.
