Software Licence (EULA)
Version 1.4 · October 2026 · © 2026 RIPPLES Music Industries LTD
This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is a legal agreement between you (the "Licensee") and RIPPLES Music Industries LTD ("RIPPLES") for the RIPPLES Tap application and the RIPPLES audio plug-in software you install with it, including the Audio Unit and VST3 components, presets, samples, documentation and any updates (together, the "Software"). By installing or using the Software you agree to be bound by the terms of this Agreement. If you do not agree, do not install or use the Software.
1. License Grant
RIPPLES grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on computers that you own or control, for your own music production and audio work, whether personal or commercial. Audio you create using the Software is yours; no additional license or royalty is owed to RIPPLES for music or sound you produce with it.
2. Licence Keys and Activation
Paid plug-ins are unlocked by a licence key issued to you at purchase. A key may be active on up to three computers at any one time. You may release a computer from within RIPPLES Tap at any time and activate another in its place; releasing a computer stops the Software working on it. The Full Plugin Bundle is a single licence covering every paid plug-in it includes, and it occupies one of your three activations for all of them together. Licence keys are personal to you and may not be shared, sold or transferred.
3. Trials
A trial licence lets you use a paid plug-in without charge for a fixed period, currently seven days, beginning when you activate it. The end date is set when the trial is issued and does not extend for time the Software is unused or offline. A trial licence may be activated up to twice, which allows one reinstall; a second activation continues the original period rather than starting a new one. When a trial ends the plug-in stops producing sound until a paid licence is activated.
4. Licence Validation and Internet Connection
The Software checks the status of your licence over the internet, both when RIPPLES Tap is running and periodically thereafter. An internet connection is required to activate or release a licence. The Software continues to work without a connection for a limited period, currently about thirty days for a paid licence and about two days for a trial, after which it stops producing sound until it can be validated again. Validation may also fail if a licence has been refunded, released or revoked. RIPPLES may change these periods in later versions of the Software.
5. Updates
RIPPLES Tap checks for new versions of itself and of the plug-ins and may download and offer them to you. Installing an update requires your confirmation. RIPPLES is not obliged to provide updates, and may stop supporting older versions or operating systems.
6. Restrictions
You may not resell, sublicense, rent, lease, or redistribute the Software itself. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software except to the extent that such activity is expressly permitted by applicable law. You may not remove or alter any proprietary notices or branding contained in the Software. You may not distribute the Software as part of a competing product or sample/preset library. You may not circumvent or attempt to circumvent the licensing and validation described in sections 2 to 4.
7. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. RIPPLES and its licensors retain all right, title and interest in and to the Software, including all intellectual property rights.
8. Information We Collect
To operate licensing, RIPPLES Tap sends your licence key and a label identifying the computer, made from your computer's name and a random identifier, to our payment and licensing provider, Lemon Squeezy. If you sign in to RIPPLES Tap, it sends the email address of your RIPPLES account and your computer's name to us so that your licences can be delivered to the app. RIPPLES Tap also reports usage events - such as the app opening or an install succeeding or failing - with a random identifier created on your computer, the RIPPLES Tap version, your platform and your operating system version. Usage events contain no licence key. If you are signed in to your RIPPLES account, they are linked to that account; if you are not, they contain no name or email address. Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy at ripples-music.com/privacy.
9. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RIPPLES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR REVENUE.
11. Term
This Agreement is effective until terminated. It will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any term herein. Upon termination you must cease all use of the Software and remove all copies.
12. Changes to this Agreement
RIPPLES may issue a revised version of this Agreement with a new version number. If it does, RIPPLES Tap will ask you to accept the revised Agreement before you continue to use the Software. Your existing licences are not affected by a change to this Agreement.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
