Privacy Policy

Noodle is a platform for musicians to share unfinished musical ideas - loops, beats, lyrics, sketches - so other people can pull them into their own work. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the control you have over it. Noodle is operated by Ripples Music Industries Ltd ("RIPPLES", "we", "us"), Afula, Israel.

Information we collect

• Account details - your email address, username, and password (passwords are stored hashed; we never see them in plain text).
• Profile information - anything you choose to add: display name, bio, avatar image, and social/streaming links.
• Content you upload - audio files, lyrics and text, titles, tags, comments, and the messages you send in direct messages.
• Activity - likes, pulls, follows, challenge participation, and reports you file or receive.
• Subscription data - if you subscribe to Chef, your purchase and renewal status. Payment card details are handled by Apple or our payment processor and are never stored by us.
• Technical data - basic device and usage information needed to run the app reliably and securely.

How we use it

• To provide Noodle - your account, feed, uploads, messaging, and challenges.
• To manage Chef subscriptions and unlock the features they include.
• To keep the community safe - reviewing reports and acting on content that breaks our rules or the law.
• To maintain, secure, and improve the service.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your uploads to train AI models.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the service providers that make Noodle work:

• Supabase - hosting, database, and file storage.
• RevenueCat and Apple - managing in-app subscriptions on iOS.
• Lemon Squeezy - processing subscription payments on the web.

Content you post publicly (your ingredients, profile, and comments) is, by design, visible to other Noodle users. Direct messages are private between participants.

Deleting your account and data

You can permanently delete your account at any time from inside the app: Profile → Edit → Delete account. This removes your profile, every ingredient you uploaded, your direct messages, and all related activity from our systems. This cannot be undone. You can also email us and we'll handle it for you.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is removed. We may retain limited records where the law requires it (for example, payment records for tax purposes).

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. To make a request, contact us at the address below.

Children

Noodle is not directed to children under 13, and the app is rated for ages 17+. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will remove it.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep yours safe.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date above.
